They are easy to get into and out of. The easiest bindings I've ever used. Very secure. They are very stable snowshoes in soft powder as well as on packed trails. The slightly offset binding position makes it easy to walk or jog in these shoes. The designers were definitely using their heads on these ones.
I went out to Hartman after the first big snow storm and walked up and down all of the snow covered stairs in the park and the crampons and rear grippers work great. No slippage either uphill or down.
I am glad that I spent the money to buy this particular snowshoe. Definitely worth it, in my opinion.
